Rotherham started brightly and played by far the more enterprising rugby of the first 20 minutes. Prompted by Guy Easterby at scrum-half and abetted by Leon Greef and Brad MacLeod-Henderson - who got through their fair share of tackling as Saints began to gather some momentum.

The south Yorkshire side surprised Saints with their ability to counter attack dangerously and use the ball so imaginatively.

Leon originally from Zimbabwe has been with the club for a number of years. Like many of the players, he has seen the Club rise through the various leagues and played in the Premiership the last time the club was there in the 1998/1999 season. His tenacious tackling and ball carrying techniques make him a firm favourite with the crowd and being able to play on either flank, second row or even number 8 means that Leon has numerous strings to his bow. He has represented Zimbabwe, however his greatest moment was being capped by the Super 12 side Natal Sharks.
